GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Organised by Fitrah Outdoors, a community-led outdoor adventure space focused on combining spiritual reflection with nature journeys.
This unique adventure invites participants to explore the breathtaking Balkan region — from rugged mountains and clear lakes to historic towns — while riding e-bikes, hiking scenic trails, and reflecting on the stories of Surah al-Kahf (The Cave) in beautiful natural settings.
The trip balances active exploration with spiritual connection and cultural immersion.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- E-biking in Shebenik National Park, Albania — forests, lakes, caves and wilderness trails.
- Cross-border e-bike ride into North Macedonia to Ohrid — UNESCO heritage lake town.
- Visits to Gazi Hüseyin Pasha Mosque in Struga and Monastery of St. Naum near Lake Ohrid.
- Scenic rides through Galicica National Park and Lake Prespa landscapes.
- Cultural tour and Jumu’ah prayer in Korçë, visit to historic Xhamia e Iljaz Mirahorit.
- Authentic local experiences — farm visit, service project, chef-cooked dinners, and cultural exchanges.
- Daily reflection time inspired by Surah al-Kahf themes.
Typical Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival — Transfer from Tirana Airport → Borovë & overnight.
Day 2: Full day e-bike & hike in Shebenik National Park + cave & lake tours.
Day 3: Farm visit, service project, e-bike to Librazhd & sunset at Lake Ohrid.
Day 4: E-bike to North Macedonia → Struga mosque & St. Naum monastery → Ohrid.
Day 5: Ride through Galicica National Park → Otesevo (Lake Prespa).
Day 6: E-bike through Prespa National Park → Korçë.
Day 7: Jumu’ah at Xhamia e Iljaz Mirahorit + city tour → Cooking class with Grandma Bahia.
Day 8: E-bike to Drenove Village & hike in Drenove National Park.
Day 9: Transfer to Tirana Airport for departure.
