The Hijrah Walk refers to the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions from Makkah to Madinah in 622 CE. This event marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar and symbolises sacrifice, trust in Allah, community, and resilience. This retreat allows participants to relive this journey with heart, body, and spirit, tracing the footsteps of the Prophet ﷺ while reflecting on the timeless lessons of faith and perseverance.
This edition of the Hijrah Walk is offered by Hijrah Hub, guided spiritually and educationally under the expertise of Shaykh Abdallah Alkadi, one of the world’s foremost authorities on the Hijrah route and Prophetic biography.
Participants walk a historically researched path — approximately 450 km (280 miles) — following exact locations associated with the Prophet ﷺ and his companions during the blessed migration. Through expert guides and spiritual reflection, this retreat brings the Seerah to life in a way that resonates deeply with both heart and mind.
This is a fully in-person experience — combining desert walking, spiritual sessions, reflection, and group support — designed for those seeking a transformative journey rooted in faith, history, and community.
