GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Muslim Women’s Travel Group (MWTG) is a community‑oriented, Halal‑friendly travel group for women that organises group trips with structured itineraries, private guides, local transport, and shared experiences in unique destinations worldwide.
The Oman 2026 trip is a small‑group journey (approx. 12 participants) designed to explore Oman’s rich cultural heritage, natural landscapes, desert life, and historical sites while offering shared meals, guided excursions, private transport and opportunities to connect with fellow Muslim women travellers
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1 – Saturday 24th October – Arrival (Muscat):
Arrive at Muscat International Airport, meet the group and local representative, transfer to a 5★ hotel to relax, then enjoy the first evening meal together.
Day 2 – Sunday 25th October – Muscat City Tour:
Explore Muscat including Al Alam Palace, Bait Al Zubair Museum, and the waterfront Muttrah Souq before returning to Muscat for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Monday 26th October – Coastal & Nature Drive:
Visit Grand Mosque, then head out to Quriyat, scenic viewpoints, Bimah Sinkhole, Wadi Tiwi, Sur dhow yard, and finish at Ras al Jinz Nature Reserve for evening turtle watching.
Day 4 – Tuesday 27th October – Desert & Wadi Bani Khalid:
Drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, explore Bidiyah & Al Wasil village, descend into desert dunes, and stay near an Arabian Oryx Camp.
Day 5 – Wednesday 28th October – Wahiba Sands & Ibra → Nizwa:
Sunrise over the Wahiba Sands, breakfast at camp, then visit Ibra Market and Al Minsifah Village before reaching Birkat Al Mauz, and check in at the Intercity Hotel in Nizwa with leisure time.
Day 6 – Thursday 29th October – Interior Oman Excursion:
Day trip into the interior: Nizwa town & souq, Nizwa Fort, Bahla fort, Jibreen castle, Al Hamra, and the dramatic landscapes around Jabal Shams (Oman’s “Grand Canyon”). Dinner and overnight at DusitD2 Naseem Resort.
Day 7 – Friday 30th October – Jabal Akhdar & Return to Muscat:
After breakfast, drive back toward Muscat via Jabal Akhdar, and enjoy time for shopping (including Amouage factory, Oman Mall, and Muttrah Souq). Dinner and overnight at the Royal Tulip Muscat Hotel.
Day 8 – Saturday 31st October – Departure:
Free morning at leisure at your hotel before being transferred to Muscat International Airport for departure.
